Cheap Thrills: Philadelphia Fringe Festival 2011

Finally, a Philly flash mob that won’t leave me clutching a lamp post and shaking in my heels.

Instead of shaking, there will be grooving actually. Tomorrow, September 10th, at 2 pm in Rittenhouse Square the hip people at Burning Sphere will be leading a dance flash mob to Florence & The Machine’s “Dog Days Are Over”. I can’t think of a better, more liberating song to almost make me forget that I am dancing in the middle of fifth largest U.S. city. If your dance skills are up to par (or if they’re not, even better!) take ’em to the streets tomorrow and learn the dance here!

And if you can’t find your dancing shoes, check out all the other free (or reasonably priced) artsy activities going on during the 15th Annual Fringe Festival here in Philly.
